The PBR Academy welcomes Seth Kenny as Director of Player Development.
The Prep Baseball Report Academy is proud to announce the addition of Seth Kenny to our experienced staff. Kenny has been a Division I college pitching coach for nine years, serving five years at Illinois State University and four at Austin Peay University. He also served as the recruiting coordinator for two years. In his nine years as a college coach, he's had nine pitchers drafted under his tutelage, including two who made the major leagues. After his pitching career at Eastern Michigan University, he played two years of pro ball in the Oakland A's organization.

PBR Academy welcomes Cliff Brown to our experienced coaching staff
The Prep Baseball Report Academy is proud to welcome Cliff Brown. Cliff comes to the Prep Baseball Report with a wealth of baseball knowledge, ranging from college coaching to running training academies. From professional and college athletes to young, aspiring players, Cliff has trained thousands of players, including 32 players that have gone on to play professional baseball. Previously, Cliff operated a training academy for a professional baseball organization for three years.

 The Prep Baseball Report Academy is the ultimate resource for your baseball and softball training needs. Located inside Illinois' biggest open-turf facility, the PBR Academy will provide players and teams of all ages a place to learn from high-level trained professionals. From our variety of camps and clinics to individual and team training, the PBR Academy is your place for year-round baseball training. The Prep Baseball Report magazine and websites are the No. 1 sources for Illinois high school baseball. Now teamed with the Max-McCook's state-of-the-art 125,000 square foot facility, we can provide players with a multitude of services.

About the Max

    The McCook Athletic & Exposition (MAX) center is Chicago’s first full-sized outdoor field positioned under a clear-span 40-foot roof.  At 125,000 square feet, the Max incorporates 79,000 square feet of turf, two full-sized basketball courts, volleyball courts, and a baseball/softball academy, MAX is host to a broad range of sports and exhibitions.  The entire building is climate controlled - both heat and air-conditioning - to allow for comfortable year-round usage. The facility is designed to meet the needs of organized public and private sports teams and clubs, as well as satisfying the ever-increasing demand for more and better training and competitive facilities. 

    A spectator mezzanine allows for terrific sight-lines from all locations and a relaxed, roomy environment for the players, coaches and spectators alike.   A full concession and vending area is available for your enjoyment.  Complimentary wireless internet is available for visitors and coaches.  Trade shows, exhibitions and corporate as well as private events have access to a private multi-purpose/conference room, available local catering services.
